Join the Friends of Georgia Library Services for the Blind and Print Disabled.

Friends is an association of persons interested in Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (GLS) who provide support for and advocate on behalf of GLS. The $10 annual membership dues have been essential in bringing the community together for past events, like the Friends luncheon, Bingo Night, and the GLS Holiday Variety Show, as well as providing support for the GLS Summer Reading Program. More information coming soon on our upcoming social distanced Bingo Afternoon in June. As always, we welcome ideas and input on helping our community connect and grow.

Those interested in supporting our mission have the opportunity to become a FOG 2022 member for $10. Drop in or mail your check, money order, or cash to Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, Monday-Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm located at One Margaret Mitchell Square NW, First Floor, Atlanta, GA 30303.

Already a Friend? Become a member of the Friends Board.

The Friends Board members serve a 1-3 year term and currently meet monthly via teleconference or conference call with library staff for 1 to 2 hours to discuss the needs of the library and provide support in developing services and programs for the reading impaired community.
