Georgia Accessibility Conference FAQ
Q: What is the Georgia Accessibility Conference and who is it for?
A: The Georgia Accessibility Conference (GAC), organized every two years by GLS, is for library employees who are enthusiastic about providing accessible library services to those patrons in their communities with disabilities. Each attendee should plan on taking ideas and resources back to their community to encourage accessible library services for all.
Q: Can I view content from past GACs?
A: Georgia public library employees can view recorded sessions from the 2021 Georgia Accessibility Conference, which was held virtually. Recordings of the 2023 GAC sessions will be added when they become available. Access to recordings is provided in the GPLS Learning Center on Niche Academy.
Q: I have further questions. Who can I contact?
A: Email Kristin White at kwhite@georgialibraries.org or Gina Martin at gmartin@georgialibraries.org.
