With the redesign of our website and the release of our new public service announcement, GLS has drawn some attention recently from media outlets in Georgia.
On November 30, 2022, GLS Director Kristin White was interviewed on Atlanta’s 11Alive television station. She talked briefly about our established and continuing mission to remove barriers to reading for Georgians with print disabilities, highlighting the fact that the updated GLS website makes it easier for everyone to understand and access GLS services. GLS Outreach Manager Gina Martin was a guest on the WABE radio show Closer Look with Rose Scott on December 9, 2022. The popular talk show host asked Gina some questions about GLS services and how we deliver these to our patrons. Rose and Gina also discussed the revamped GLS website and other ways we are working to reach greater numbers of eligible readers across Georgia.
