Overview
Summer reading is a fun and accessbile way for people of all ages to enjoy books, explore new topics, and strengthen their reading habits during the summer months.
GLS patrons earn points during the summer by reading or joining library events and activities. Participants earn one point for every hour of reading. They can also earn one point for each GLS or NLS event or activity in June or July. Each age group has a specific summer reading point goal they are encouraged to reach. Every person who completes their point goal will receive a finisher a prize and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a grand prize.
